Serve Team Guidelines


Greet Team

  • Arrive on time in accordance to Planning Center Services schedule.
  • Please don’t allow conversation to block the flow of traffic in and out of church or in and out of the sanctuary.
  • Continue to greet until 15 minutes after service has begun.
  • Please don’t allow personal conversation to keep you from greeting everyone who walks through the doors.
  • Most importantly, SMILE and love everyone who walks through our doors.

Hospitality Team

  • Arrive on time in accordance to Planning Center Services schedule.
  • Please don’t allow conversation to interrupt your team responsibilities.
  • Bring donuts and coffee into the kitchen 10 minutes after service has begun.
  • Make sure coffee and donuts are out and ready as soon as people begin to arrive for a service.
  • Make sure coffee does not run out.
  • Most importantly, SMILE and love everyone who walks through our doors.

Usher Team

  • Arrive on time in accordance to Planning Center Services schedule.
  • Once service has begun, personally guide individuals to available seating.
  • Be as quiet and respectful as possible when guiding individuals to their seats after service has begun.
  • Close interior service doors as soon as service begins.
  • Ensure doors open and close quietly during service.
  • Please be mindful of conversations disrupting service.
  • Most importantly, SMILE and love everyone who walks through our doors.

Welcome Center

  •        Arrive on time in accordance to Planning Center Services schedule.
  •        Be mindful of anyone approaching the Welcome Center
  •        If you don’t know the answer to a question, encourage people to fill out a connection card and include their question on the back.
